Admission Arrangements for Main School

All admissions for Reception to Year Six are dealt with by the Local Authority. For further information such as selection arrangements, over subscription criteria and details of the application process see main school prospectus.

Admission Arrangements for Nursery

Nursery Provision

The nursery unit admits 78 children on a part time basis with 39 per session. Children are normally admitted at the beginning of the academic year in which they achieve their fourth birthday. To register a child for a Nursery place please contact the school office.

Our nursery can get heavily over-subscribed therefore we follow the Borough’s criteria regarding admissions.

Primary Schools’ Criteria

In strict order of priority, are as follows:

1. LAC (looked after child)
2. Children who have a brother or sister attending the main school.
3. Children resident in the priority area for admission (this is the neighbourhood area designated by the Local Authority as giving priority for admission to a particular school)
4. Children who live closest to the school measured by a straight line between the home and the school
